The ASEEES Committee on Environmental Sustainability was formed in April 2020 to examine, assess, and improve our impact on and engagement with global environmental challenges within the broader context of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies. The full mission statement of the committee can be found in the “About” section or on the ASEEES website.
This website is a gathering place for ASEEES members to share resources related to the teaching, research, and service in support of environmental studies and sustainability in the region and beyond. As of May 2021, we host a public registry of scholars working on these issues in the region on this website and maintain a “members-only” listserv for interested SEEES scholars and practitioners. Check out this page to view the registry and for more information about how to sign up.
